The Sussex Children Were Just Made Part of the Brand
The Sussexes released their clearest images yet of Archie and Lilibet on the same day they announced the children are global philanthropists.
Meghan and Harry published the clearest images yet of their children’s faces Friday, on the same day they announced that their children would become part of their global philanthropic business.
It was a one-two punch that leaves no doubt that the children are being used as part of the couple’s myth-making on social media.
In a statement on their Archewell website, the couple revealed that the organization was being rebranded as “Archewell Philanthropies.”
Accompanying the rebrand was a striking line: the charitable entity, they said, would allow “the couple and their children to expand upon their global philanthropic endeavours as a family.”
The implication that children of Archie and Lilibet’s ages—six and four—are already participants in “global philanthropy” is, to put it politely, somewhat mystifying.
