Catherine, Princess of Wales, arrived in Reggio Emilia in northern Italy on Wednesday to scenes of excitement, where cheering crowds gave the future queen a heroine’s welcome on her first overseas solo trip since her cancer diagnosis.
The Princess stepped out to greet the Mayor of Reggio Emilia, Marco Massari, in an all-blue Edeline Lee suit, looking radiant and well, with her long hair perfectly curled as she offered a royal wave to the crowd before shaking hands with the Mayor, who had been waiting in Piazza Prampolini for the Princess’s lunchtime arrival.
