Megxin is Real
The public may not like it, William may loathe it, but the King is determined to have his way. Harry and Meghan have won.
Any lingering doubts that Harry and Meghan’s UK visit is the first public step to “Megxin” are being rapidly dispelled.
As I wrote last night, when the Sussexes informed media of the operational details of their visit, “This could be the beginning of a full, structural reintegration of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex into the royal family, driven by the King, in defiance of his heir, against the wishes of the British public, and in the face of everything that has happened over the past six years.”
Anyone who was saying last week that Harry and Meghan’s visit means nothing, and nothing was happening this summer, and it’s all a load of hot air and spin frankly isn’t worth giving your valuable time or subscription dollars to, because they clearly have no real contacts offering them genuine insight into the overarching fact of the King’s intense yearning for reconciliation with his “darling boy”, which I have been reporting on since I founded this Substack almost a year ago (at the risk of sounding like NPR: reminder, you may be on a one year freebie, please subscribe).
