Harry’s Colbert Appearance Needling Trump Was Reckless and, Politically, Not Astute

I don't understand how Harry thinks he can hang on to his title as a prince of the United Kingdom if he criticizes the leader of a foreign country.

I actually thought Prince Harry’s appearance on Colbert started pretty well. He got big cheers and a standing ovation when he walked on stage. If he’d stuck to the Hallmark Prince gag, it would have remained a light, funny late-night bit — a reminder of the cheeky, self-deprecating chap we once loved and knew.

But then he pivoted into politics.
