Harry’s Camp Goes Nuclear, Accuses the Palace of Cynical Bad Faith

Sources close to the Duke are suggesting the King’s offer of a bed for the night was not sincere in the first place

Prince Harry just went nuclear on his family, accusing the royals of an elaborate set-up, and suggesting that the Palace’s offer to him of a bed for the night was made in bad faith and was never intended to be honored.

Sources close to the Duke of Sussex said Monday, as the argument hit fever pitch, that the palace’s explanations for withdrawing Harry’s invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace did not add up.

Harry, via sources, is accusing the palace of cynically laying a trap for him: dangling a royal residence in front of him only to snatch it away, presumably for the sheer men-in-grey-suits villainy of it all.

The Sussex camp questioning the sincerity of the palace may be received with some skepticism by a public that has been systematically misled by their operation over the last ten days, for example when they announced that Harry, Meghan and the children were definitely coming to Britain, then that Meghan and the children weren’t coming, then that they might come for bits of it (this is still the official stance), and then leaked a terror-threat assessment to ITV News with the none-too-subtle suggestion that any harm befalling innocent bystanders would be on the state’s conscience, and then announced to the BBC that Harry would be staying at Buckingham Palace roughly two days after he had declined the offer “in writing.”
